Warriors of Virtue Epic YA Fantasy Series Episode 6 Cover ArtI am influenced by realism, Art Nouveau, Impressionism, and classical Disney animation designs. These influences are reflected in my personal style. I can push my style in either direction; I can make my work more realistic or more graphic. As a classically trained artist, animator, writer, and publisher who is comfortable working with digital tools, I’m capable of taking an idea for a movie or a book and transform it into a finished project.

I specialise in people (all races and ages), animals, and stories.

I believe in simple informative elegance in all my designs, but I strive for an emotional response.

Realistic or Character Portraits

Lana and Anton, Portrait June 2019

I’ve sold my first portrait commission when I was 14 years old and by now I have more than 20 years of professional experience. Whether you are interested in a museum-quality portrait, or you prefer for me to paint you as your favorite character, I promise you a work of art you will be proud to share with the world.

I’m happy to tailor each portrait to your specific needs, or you can choose one of the pre-priced options available in my new Etsy Shop.

Rate and Payment Details

Mili Fay progress painting "The Phantom of the Opera Inktober 2016 Sketchbook" cover art.

Each project’s price is determined by estimating the time it will take for me to create the project and multiplying that time with my hourly rate. My rate is determined by the nature of the copyright license. For example, if you wish to use the work for promotional purposes only and allow me to keep the copyright to the image (I can use it however I wish) my hourly rate will be lower than if you wish to purchase all the copyrights (I will not be entitled to further royalties or other commercial compensation).

Special rates are available for extensive projects. Shipping within Canada and USA is free.

Contact me for a personal quote. I conform to the Graphic Artist’s Guild Handbook of Pricing and Ethical Guidelines.

I will not work for free; you will be expected to pay a deposit, before I begin to work. I accept payment via PayPal or Etsy.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your consideration.
