Buyer Beware:
Would you believe it after spending 3 weeks dealing with customer service and repair service for our refrigerator we ended up buying a new one? The first time we were charged $270 for the repair man to melt ice. He assured us that the fridge was working well, got us to give him a glowing review by mentioning that if we reviewed his service $20 will be given to charity. Within two days we contacted the company to report that the fridge would not stop working (refrigerators are suppose to stop working depending on the temperature regulator). We contacted the company, but they kept insisting there was a problem with the fan, even though we could hear the fan working non-stop. After a week and a half they sent the repair man again. When my dad explained to him that we have been trying to contact him and have the repair company send someone he prevaricated. He then told us we will need to replace the temperature regulator (probably the fan, too since it has been working overtime) and left. We waited a day or so, and then my mom called the repair man to see how much everything will cost in the end. He told her my dad made him feel uncomfortable and that he told him there was a problem with the fan. This is not true, since I was there the first time and he touched the iron thing-a-majig connected to the fan to show us how it was working well. Then he said the repair job would cost additional $400, $250 for his services (which initially I was assured would be $180) and the rest for the parts. So if we agreed our total cost would have been almost $700!!! The new fridge costs $1300! Such a scam. If we could have found someone who was not associated with that company they could have probably fixed the whole thing for about $100-$200.
Anyway, I just had to make you aware of the horrors we’ve been facing, in case your fridge ever breaks down. This was a repair service contacted by LG. I am appalled at the service.

Last week, I sketched four more illustrations for Warriors of Virtue. The scenes they represent are happening in chapters 1-3. I’m going to do a couple of more illustration sketches, so that I can give myself time for the images to settle, before I proceed to finishing them traditionally in ink.
